Linda Tan

Bishan, Singapore · April 2025

"I came to the Daily Money Habits series not entirely sure what to expect. The format of reading before the session made a real difference — I arrived with my own thoughts already formed, which meant the discussion had somewhere to go. The workbook has stayed on my desk."

Jurong West, Singapore · May 2025

"The Singapore Retirement Overview was the right place to start. I had heard the terms before — CPF Life, Retirement Account — but had not read anything that explained the distinctions clearly and without any agenda. The two sessions were enough to change the quality of the conversations I now have at home."

"My husband and I attended the Long-Term Planning Workshop together, which I would recommend to others. The conversation scenarios in the workbook were genuinely useful — they gave us a structure for discussions we had been circling without quite having. The facilitator kept things moving without ever pushing a particular view."

Kenneth Ong

Tampines, Singapore · April 2025

"I have been to financial talks before where the speaker spent forty minutes on education and fifteen minutes promoting something. Verandi was nothing like that. No pitch, no brochure at the door. The reading on household ledger habits was dry in places but accurate, and the discussion made it worthwhile."

Holland Village, Singapore · May 2025

"The SRS material in the Retirement Overview was the most clearly written explanation I have come across. It did not oversimplify, and it did not try to tell me what to do with the information — which is what I needed. I have since done the Long-Term Planning Workshop and found it equally measured."

"The reflection circle after the Daily Habits series was something I did not expect to value as much as I did. By that point the group had been together for four weeks, and the follow-up conversation went deeper than the main sessions in some ways. It was a good addition."

Detailed accounts from past cohorts

GT

Grace Toh, 54 — Bukit Timah

Long-Term Planning Conversations Workshop · February 2025

The situation

Grace was approaching her mid-fifties with a reasonable household savings picture but no structured way of having conversations with her spouse about the years ahead. Both were avoiding the subject without quite acknowledging it.

The programme

The Long-Term Planning Workshop's workbook of conversation scenarios gave Grace and her husband a way into discussions they had been postponing. The structured format took some of the weight off the conversation — it became about the scenarios rather than about them personally.

The result

Three months after the workshop, Grace describes the household as having ongoing conversations about planning that feel ordinary rather than loaded. She has also enrolled in the Retirement Overview to build on what the workshop introduced.

"The scenarios in the workbook were useful in a way I did not expect — they made the conversation feel like problem-solving rather than like arguing about money."

HG

Henry Goh, 61 — Queenstown

Singapore Retirement Reading Overview · January 2025

The situation

Henry had encountered explanations of CPF Life at various financial talks over the years, but each one had been shaped by something the presenter was trying to sell. He wanted to understand the structure independently.

The programme

The Retirement Overview reading material covered CPF Life's payout mechanics, the Retirement Account formation timeline, and the SRS framework — without reference to any products or providers. Henry described the vocabulary booklet as particularly useful for unpicking terms he had previously encountered in confusing contexts.

The result

Henry left the programme with a clear working understanding of the CPF Life structure and a vocabulary for the topic that allowed him to read MAS documents directly without needing a third party to interpret them.

"I have been to many talks on this subject. This was the first time I walked away having learned the structure rather than having been pointed toward a product."
