Why Verandi

What sets our approach apart

Reading-led structure

Material is distributed before each session. Participants arrive having read, so discussion moves thoughtfully rather than starting from scratch.

Small, considered cohorts

Every session runs with between eight and fourteen participants. The scale keeps conversation genuine and unhurried, without the noise of a large room.

Strictly educational scope

Verandi does not offer financial advice and does not recommend any products or services. The programmes are purely educational and discussion-based.

Unhurried pace

Programmes are spaced across weeks or a weekend, allowing time for reading, reflection, and arriving at each session with considered thoughts rather than rushed ones.

Singapore-contextual content

Material is written for Singapore residents — the CPF framework, SRS structure, and local household planning considerations are addressed directly and accurately.

Tactful, pressure-free

No urgency, no sales framing, no upselling. The environment is quiet and considered — more akin to a reading club than a seminar room.

Questions

Commonly asked

Who are these programmes intended for?
The programmes are designed for adults aged 40 and above who want a measured, reading-based approach to understanding household financial topics. They are suitable for people approaching or within a decade of their later working years, as well as those who simply want a calm, structured way to read and discuss money matters.
Do the programmes offer financial advice?
No. Verandi's programmes are educational in scope. No advice is given on specific financial decisions, and no products or services are recommended during or after the sessions. If you need regulated financial advice, we recommend consulting a licensed financial adviser.
How are the sessions run?
A chapter or reading is distributed to cohort members before each session. Participants are expected to read the material at their own pace before attending. The session itself is a facilitated group discussion rather than a lecture. This format keeps the conversation substantive and allows participants to share their own context.
Where are the sessions held?
Sessions are held at our reading room at 105 Cecil Street, #19-03, The Octagon, Singapore 069534. The space is quiet and modest in size, suited to small group discussion. Specific session dates and times are confirmed upon enrolment.
What is included in the programme fee?
Each programme includes all printed reading materials, a workbook or reference card appropriate to the series, and access to a follow-up reflection circle where included. There are no hidden costs. Payment is made at the time of enrolment.
How do I reserve a place?
You may use the enquiry form on this page or call us directly on +65 9583 0247. We are happy to answer questions about any programme before you decide. Places are confirmed once enrolment is complete.
What is your approach to privacy?
Personal information collected during enrolment is used solely for programme administration. We do not share participant details with third parties, and we do not use cohort participation for marketing or product solicitation. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
